Indilus Technology has an ongoing relationship with the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm
System (ILEAS). Below are some of the areas in which we have enabled them to move towards
the cutting edge:
Secure Membership: Allows each registered agency to log-in securely to view and administrate personalized Mutual Aid content.
Once inside, member agencies have access to a dynamic, fully customized emergency contact system, emphasizing speed and ease of use.
Administrators have a multitude of tools to communicate with agencies and analyze critical information.
It completely replaces the paper-based Alarm Card system used in the past, and concentrates all necessary tools in a web-based application.
Purchase Order System: Coordinates users in various roles distributed throughout the state in the multi-step process of
authoring, approving and finalizing purchases. We established a secure, automated, web-based system allowing responsible
parties to collaborate efficiently. At each approval step, documents and materials related to the purchase can be attached
for others to view, and an email is sent to the person responsible for further authorization.
This reduced the workload and confusing audit trail associated with faxes, phone calls and letters to obtain necessary
authorizations, and replaced it with a system that concentrates pertinent information into one simple interface.
Agency Reimbursement System: Streamlines the process of reimbursing agencies for mutual aid activations and Special Response Team training in which their officers are involved. Supported overtime, backfill, mileage and equipment reimbursement for approximately 300
officers from over 100 agencies responding to Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.
